This BA (Hons) Business Management (Top-Up) degree will develop your individual management and business acumen, getting you ready for life in industry.

This course has been designed in collaboration with local and national employers to ensure that the knowledge and employability skills you gain will give you the edge when it comes to securing your first graduate job.

You will cover a range of factors affecting businesses in the current climate, such as what drives firms to develop and grow, marketing techniques, the challenges of management, the impact of digital technologies, the challenges of leading organisations and the ethical standards of businesses.

You will cover many key themes during this degree, including entrepreneurship, ethical management, research skills and change management, enabling you to have the well-rounded knowledge and skills you need in the modern world of business.

Entry requirements

Pass or higher in a Level 5 Foundation Degree, Diploma in Higher Education or HND (related Business and/or Management subject).

You may be invited to an interview before being offered a place on this course (this interview will be at the discretion of the Business department staff).

If you are a current Newcastle College student and you successfully meet the published Level 5 entry criteria in an appropriate subject(s), you will be guaranteed a place on this course.

Applicants are normally expected to have achieved a grade 4 or higher in GCSE English and maths or the Level 2 equivalents (i.e. Functional Skills and Adult Literacy/Numeracy).

At Newcastle College University Centre, we welcome applications from students studying new T-Level qualifications.
